What are the actions I notice I do that nourish my Being, my Heart, my Soul?
I hosted a women's circle at my dome a few nights ago. Every time after a circle I forget that somehow, how it nourishes all my bodies. I always feel so satisfied and complete during and after such a circle, so full of love and presence, that all stories fall apart, past and future fall apart, and there are no “wants”. My energetic body stops moving forward and it's fully here. Power of intimacy, simplicity and presence.
I love the slight drizzle touching my bare skin. I feel a loving sensual connection with rain, with the Earth. What really feeds my Being is full loving presence. The roar of the ocean becomes a conversation and a love song. The burning of the wood becomes an act of love. My naked arm (my sweater slipped down on one side) in contact with the air.
Singing and listening to music with all my bodies. I do not like music as a background. I love to be fully immersed in music, move my body, feel emotions, feel energy, get insights, do/be what needs to be done/been.
Chasing the moon - today in the morning before sunrise I noticed a huge yellow moon setting between the trees and following the impulse - in my robe and flip flops in a very chilly morning - I followed the forest line until an opening - huge yellow moon face was staring at me and I was staring back. What a meeting! I love responding to the callings of the natural world. To be in intimate relating with the world
Self-compassion - in Buddhist teachings there is a phrase - “leave it hairy as it is” - and it refers to not fighting the thoughts and “monkey mind” but looking at this with curiosity and compassion and coming back to the Being. I noticed how relaxing my crazy mind thinking about a thousand things at the same time and simply moving to the next moment with presence and love feeds my Being.
What do you do to feed your Being?
